Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is hiring a Pre-K Teacher Aide to support a Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate, standards-based instruction at the BGCSNV ECL Center. You will help create a safe, inclusive classroom that fosters student learning.

The role requires a High School diploma, 1000 hours of pre-K experience, CPR/AED, and strong collaboration with staff and families. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus in a full-time position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or Nevada Registry Level 2 or higher preferred.
• 1000 hours of direct experience in pre-K/ECE.
• Current CPR/AED certificate is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills to interact with staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Create and maintain an orderly, academically focused classroom.
• Adhere to safety standards and report hazards promptly.
• Assist with implementation of pre-K curriculum aligned to Nevada standards.
• Help with daily and long-range lesson plans and IEP/ELL needs.
• Support assessment compliance and reporting guidelines.
• Collaborate with administrators, staff, families, and community.
• Assist with student reporting in Pre-K outcomes system.
• Maintain student files and records; perform other duties as assigned.
