Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, document in medical records, and train facility staff. The role involves coordinating with physicians, families, and the health team to ensure quality care and timely progress notes.

You will supervise PT assistants, assist with discharge planning, and ensure compliance with state practice acts and payer requirements. Proficiency with Casamba and Point Click Care is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with state licensure.
• Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care software.
• Ability to read policies and implement procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral or document delay.
• Develop treatment plans and obtain physician approval.
• Treat patients per doctor’s plan and document progress.
• Supervise PT assistants and nurse aides in care delivery.
• Communicate patient progress with the health team and families.
• Participate in discharge planning and staff training.
