Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, document care, and collaborate with families and health professionals. You will train facility staff, participate in care conferences, and ensure compliance with state practice acts and payer requirements.

You should hold a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy (Masters/Doctorate preferred) and licensure in the state, with proficiency in Casamba and Point Click Care. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; state licensure required.
• Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care software.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state; maintain licensure.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of physician referral.
• Develop and obtain approval for treatment plans from referring physician.
• Treat patients per the physician treatment plan.
• Supervise PT assistants, aides and students.
• Document evaluations and treatment notes per guidelines.
• Participate in discharge planning and caregiver training.
