Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Full Time Female Specimen Collector Phlebotomist in Bloomington, IN. The role involves observed collections of female patients and requires a certified phlebotomist or 1+ year field experience, with driving between facilities likely.

You will collect samples, process and ship specimens, document information, and liaise between clinics and the laboratory while maintaining high-quality patient care and service.

Qualifications

• Certified phlebotomist (or 1+ year field experience)
• Strong customer service skills and ability to navigate phones/computers
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Collect blood, urine, and/or oral fluid specimens as required
• Process and package collections for shipping to the lab
• Act as liaison between clinics and Millennium Health
• Record patient data and physician orders accurately
• Resolve specimen issues related to billing or patient info
• Monitor and stock collection supplies on site
• Possible travel between facilities as needed
