Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Full-Time Female Specimen Collector Phlebotomist in Heltonville, Indiana. The role focuses on observed collections and delivering exemplary patient service in a clinical lab setting.

Responsibilities include collecting blood, urine, and oral fluid samples, processing and shipping specimens, and coordinating with clinicians and the lab. A high school diploma and phlebotomy experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year phlebotomy or specimen collection experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient blood, urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as liaison between the practice/clinic and the laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens as applicable.
