The role supports both lending and retail, greeting customers, processing sales and loan activity, handling cash, and maintaining merchandise displays. Reports to the Store Manager and requires strong customer service and dependable attendance.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age (WA 21)

• Team oriented and able to work with people.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math calculations required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Jewelry knowledge preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Computer literate and able to operate common office machines.
• Ability to handle firearms as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
• Perform open/close procedures under supervision.
• Keep sales floor clean and well displayed.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policy and procedures.
• Assist customers in pawn, buy, and retail transactions and lift/move merchandise.
• Answer incoming calls and communicate legal aspects of pawn/buy transactions.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Complete training and take on other duties as assigned.
