Job summary

Cash America Pawn in Washington state is seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, assist with sales, pawn and short-term loan services, and maintain a welcoming, organized store floor. The role offers hourly pay with commission and opportunities to earn up to 8% in commission.

You will process transactions, explain loan terms, evaluate merchandise, and support store operations while delivering friendly service and complying with company policies.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Strong customer service and teamwork mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience with POS is a plus
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries
• Explain terms, complete paperwork, and ensure a smooth, customer-focused experience for pawn/short-term loans
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following guidelines
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buy/sell/loan decisions
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and displays
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly
• Support store operations, including opening/closing tasks
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Complete required training and follow company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
