Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for our East Point Building center in Manchester, CT. You will greet patients, register them, explain visit flow, and support scheduling.

This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 12pm–7pm, and includes handling co-pays, insurance verifications, and communications with doctors, attorneys, and vendors. Benefits include mentorship, generous PTO, medical plans, and a company 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year Front Desk experience.
• Preferred: 1 year Scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and their next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
