Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and push food carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, and cultural or dietary preferences.
• Retrieve trays and assemble meals accurately according to each patient's order.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and HIPAA policies while handling food and sanitation.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on specific diets or textures.
• Communicate problems to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Follow health, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
