Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for full-time work at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL. You will help patients choose meals, assemble and deliver trays, and support the care team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and cultural/religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient choices and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, and sanitation policies; support infection control procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly or monthly reports as required.
