Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certified within 6 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned patient care and treatment as delegated by an RN or LPN.
• Assists patients with activities including personal hygiene, bathing, ambulation, and feeding.
• Responds to patient calls and ensures safety through rounding and safe handling.
• Sets up equipment for procedures and prepares patients and rooms for procedures and transfers.
• Collects and labels specimens and records vital signs as directed.
