Jovie Saint Paul is seeking a reliable on-call nanny back-up to work with multiple families in the Saint Paul area. The role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and a nanny kit with age-appropriate activities.

You will care for infants to toddlers in-home, with no transport duties, and opportunity for paid sick time and benefits in a supportive team. Ideal candidates are 18+, have childcare experience (infant preferred), reliable transportation, and can commit to 3+ weekdays for 6–8 hour

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various homes in the area.
• Available any 3 or more weekdays for 6–8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm.
• Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor with a bright smile.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children.
• No household duties other than common sense clean-up of activities or meals with the child.
• Support families with children ranging from infants through toddlers, highest demand under age 2.
• Engage children by providing safety and age-appropriate, hands-on activities.

Have you worked as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer? Are you a retired teacher or teaching professional who is seeking a small environment rather than a classroom? As a back‑up nanny, you will:

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children


• No household duties other than common sense clean‑up of your activities or meals with the child


• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!


• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands‑on activities based on your observations of the children's age‑appropriate development

Pay: $18 per hour - $20 per hour per hour
