Job summary

Jovie is seeking a Back-up Nanny to care for children in-home with a flexible, on-call schedule that fits around school or other commitments. This role emphasizes safety, engagement, and responsive communication with families in the Santa Monica area.

As a Back-up Nanny, You Will

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
• No household duties other than common sense clean‑up of your activities or meals with the child
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands‑on activities based on your observations of the children’s age‑appropriate development

We Provide

• Pay: $20 per hour - $22 per hour per hour
• Receive paid training and a nanny kit filled with age‑appropriate activities and games that you will bring to childcare assignments
