Job summary

Jovie is seeking on-call Back-up Nannies to care for children in-home on a flexible schedule around school and family commitments. You will work with multiple families, without required transportation duties, and receive training and a nanny kit to support activities.

Compensation ranges from $23 to $26.50 per hour, with paid sick time, benefits, and opportunities for advancement as you build consistent placements with families.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Available any 3 or more weekdays for 6–8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in-home; you will not be required to transport children.
• No household duties beyond basic cleanup after activities or meals with the child.
• Support families caring for infants through toddlers, with highest demand for under 2s.
• Engage children with safety and age-appropriate hands-on activities.

As a Back-up Nanny, You Will

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
• No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children's age-appropriate development

We Provide

• Pay: $23 per hour - $26.50 per hour per hour

About You

• At least 18 years old
• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory
• Reliable transportation
• Your willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
• You are available any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
