Job summary

Jovie is seeking a Back-up Nanny to care for children in-home with a flexible, on-call schedule. You will work with multiple families and provide safe, age-appropriate activities.

The role does not require transporting children and involves light cleanup after activities. Candidates must be 18+, have experience with children (infant experience preferred), reliable transportation, and availability for 3+ weekdays in 6–8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm.

• Willingness and ability to travel to various homes in the area.
• Available any 3 or more weekdays for 6-8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm.
• Must be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor.

Responsibilities

As a Back-up Nanny, You Will

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
• No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development

We Provide

• Pay: $20 per hour - $22.25 per hour per hour
