Jovie in Excelsior, MN seeks reliable individuals for Back-up Nanny roles on an on-call basis. You’ll care for children in-home and work around school or other commitments, with shifts typically 6–8 hours between 7 am and 7 pm.

This position offers flexible scheduling, paid training, a nanny kit, and potential full- or part-time placement with families. W-2 employment with benefits is provided, including paid sick time and opportunities for bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for children, paid or unpaid; infant experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to homes in the area.
• Available 3+ weekdays for 6–8 hour shifts between 7am and 7pm.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in-home; not required to transport children.
• No household duties beyond basic cleanup after activities or meals with the child.
• Support families with children from infants to toddlers (highest demand under age 2).
• Engage children with safety and age-appropriate activities.

As a Back-up Nanny, You Will

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
• No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children's age-appropriate development

We Provide

• Pay: $18.50 per hour - $21.50 per hour per hour
