Job summary

Jovie is seeking back‑up nannies to support families with in‑home childcare on a flexible, on‑call basis in the San Mateo area. The role emphasizes safety, engaging activities for children from infants to toddlers, and reliable availability across multiple families.

Applicants must be 18+, have childcare experience (infant experience mandatory), and reliable transportation. Shifts are 6–8 hours, 3+ weekdays, between 7 am and 7 pm, with paid training and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid; infant experience mandatory.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing and able to travel to various homes throughout the area.
• Available any 3+ weekdays for 6–8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm.
• Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor.
