Job summary

Jovie is seeking reliable part-time back-up nannies to work with multiple families on a flexible, on-call basis. You will care for children in-home, with no heavy housekeeping, and support families from infants to toddlers. Pay starts at $18/hour and ranges to $21.50/hour with paid training and opportunities for advancement.

Must be 18+, have childcare experience, reliable transport, and be available 3+ weekdays for 6–8 hour shifts between 7am and 7pm, with travel across the area.

As a Back-up Nanny, You Will

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
• No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development

We Provide

• Pay: $18 per hour - $21.50 per hour per hour

About You

• At least 18 years old
• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory
• Reliable transportation
• Your willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
• You are available any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
• Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor and a bright smile to greet each family!
