Job summary

Jovie is seeking an on-call Back-up Nanny to support families with in-home childcare. You will care for infants through toddlers, with no duties beyond simple cleanup of activities and meals.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to various homes in the area.
• Available any 3+ weekdays for 6–8 hour shifts (7am–7pm).
• Be communicative and responsive to staffing supervisor with a friendly demeanor.

As a Back-up Nanny, You Will

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
• No household duties other than common sense clean‑up of your activities or meals with the child
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands‑on activities based on your observations of the children's age‑appropriate development

We Provide

• Pay: $22 per hour - $26 per hour per hour
