Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking school-based Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy for students with behavioral needs in Northridge and Reseda, CA. This is a full-time, school-based position offering competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

You will support children in developing communication, social, and daily living skills while following BIPs and maintaining accurate session notes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children diagnosed with Autism or other special needs
• Available to work Monday - Friday, 7:50am - 3:30pm, 30 hours per week
• ABA training and knowledge of CPI or Safety Care strongly preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are a must
• Reliable transportation and willing to commute up to 10 miles (30-45 minutes)
• Physically able to kneel, run short distances, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by Case Supervisors
• Support students in developing functional communication, social skills, academic success, and daily living abilities

Center for Behavioral, Educational, and Social Therapies (CBEST), now proudly part of The Stepping Stones Group, is hiring school-based Behavior Technicians (BTs)to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for kiddos with behavioral needs in theNorthridge &, Reseda, CAarea. In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact by supporting children in reaching their social, emotional, and behavioral goals in a school setting.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students with moderate to severe behaviors (e.g., aggression, elopement) in a school setting
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by Case Supervisors
• Support students in developing functional communication, social skills, academic success, and daily living abilities
• Track and document progress, behavior data, and session notes accurately
• Maintain consistent attendance and demonstrate professional communication with staff and supervisors
