The Stepping Stones Group, LLC (CBEST) in Downtown Los Angeles is hiring school-based Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for students with behavioral needs. You will support social, emotional, and behavioral goals within a school setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with 1 year of applicable experience, and are available weekdays. We offer full-time hours with competitive pay and benefits, plus training and reimbursement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with children diagnosed with Autism or other special needs.
• Available Monday–Friday, 7:50am–3:30pm, 30 hours per week.
• ABA training and CPI or Safety Care (QBS) knowledge preferred.
• Reliable transportation; willing to commute up to 10 miles.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students in a school setting.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans developed by Case Supervisors.
• Support students in communication, social skills, academics, and daily living.
• Track and document progress, behavior data, and session notes.

Job description

Center for Behavioral, Educational, and Social Therapies (CBEST), now proudly part of The Stepping Stones Group, is hiring school-based Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for kiddos with behavioral needs in the Downtown LA area. In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact by supporting children in reaching their social, emotional, and behavioral goals in a school setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students with moderate to severe behaviors (e.g., aggression, elopement) in a school setting
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by Case Supervisors
• Support students in developing functional communication, social skills, academic success, and daily living abilities
• Track and document progress, behavior data, and session notes accurately
• Maintain consistent attendance and demonstrate professional communication with staff and supervisors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
• At least 1 year of experience working with children diagnosed with Autism or other special needs required
• Must be available to work Monday - Friday, 7:50am - 3:30pm, 30 hours per week
• ABA training and knowledge of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Safety Care (QBS) strongly preferredStrong communication and teamwork skills are a must
• Reliable transportation and willing to commute up to 10 miles (30-45 minutes)
• Physically able to kneel, run short distances, and lift up to 25 lbs.
