Job summary

Community Autism Services, a division of The Stepping Stones Group, seeks Behavior Technicians to deliver ABA services to children with autism in homes, schools, and community settings in Calabasas, CA.

Part-time roles start from 3:00pm with a flexible schedule for students. Competitive pay with paid training and RBT certification support. Travel between client visits is reimbursed and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Child Development, or Related Field.
• Part-time schedules starting from 3:00pm - flexibility for those juggling between school.
• Able to commute up to 5-20 miles or 30-45 minutes.
• Childcare experience required.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment services to children diagnosed with autism in homes, schools, or community settings.
• Instruct clients on communication, play, socialization, and independence under supervision.
• Collect and summarize behavioral data related to treatment goals.
• Maintain 6-month commitment to attendance and timely communication.

Job Duties

• Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment services to children diagnosed with autism, conducting sessions in various settings such as their homes, schools, or within the community.


• Work under the guidance of a program supervisor, instructing clients on essential skills such as communication, play, socialization, and fostering greater independence. In addition, Behavior Technicians assist in addressing challenging behaviors.


• Duties also include collecting, organizing, and summarizing behavioral data related to the child's treatment goals.


• 6-month commitment to consistent and dependable attendance, as well as responsive and timely communication, is essential to the role.
