Job summary

Soliant Health seeks two full-time, onsite Sign Language Interpreters near Montrose, CO to support deaf and hard-of-hearing students. You will bridge communication between students, educators, and peers to ensure access to education and activities.

Responsibilities include providing ASL interpretation during classes and events, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with teachers and specialists to support student achievement.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities required.
• Colorado Educational Interpreter Authorization or eligibility required.
• EIPA Written Examination completed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ASL interpretation during classes, assemblies, meetings, and activities.
• Facilitate clear communication between students, teachers, staff, and others.
• Maintain confidentiality per FERPA and district standards.
• Collaborate with teachers and service providers to support student achievement.
• Review instructional materials to prepare for daily interpreting tasks.
