Qualifications

• Proficient in American Sign Language with classroom interpretation experience.
• Experience interpreting classroom lessons, assemblies, and meetings.
• Understanding of deaf culture and sensitivity to deaf students
• Current certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation during lessons, assemblies, and activities.
• Help students understand complex content and facilitate communication
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to tailor support
• Maintain confidentiality and support an inclusive classroom
• Stay current with interpreting best practices and pursue PD
