Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under an Occupational Therapist, you will help implement individualized plans of care and support patients through all phases of OT treatment.

You will document patient responses, discuss progress with the Occupational Therapist and rehab staff, and use standard OT equipment to apply treatment techniques in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With supervision of an Occupational Therapist, develop and implement OT treatment programs tailored to each patient needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
