Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Illinois seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist and be part of a growing team. You will assist treating patients by following individualized plans of care developed by Occupational Therapists.

You will help implement treatment programs, support patients through sessions, and document progress. You will communicate with the supervising OT, rehab director, and facility staff while using standard OT equipment.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
