Job summary

PsychoGeriatric Services (PGS) is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to deliver compassionate psychiatric care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care settings. You will work autonomously with support from a robust clinical and administrative team.

The position offers a flexible Monday–Friday day-shift schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call requirements, and coverage across Rockville and Silver Spring, MD. Competitive benefits accompany this purpose-driven role.

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (MD, DC, VA, or PA required)
• Active DEA license
• Monday–Friday availability during normal business hours
• Ability to stand for 20 minutes and lift up to 15 pounds

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site psychiatric assessments and medication management
• Coordinate care with facility teams (Administrator, Director of Nursing, Social Services)
