Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist for the Night shift. In this role you will deliver respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients, operate invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and monitor patient progress in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will perform ABG draws, ensure infection control, document in the EMR, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to optimize care. Requires CRT and BLS; 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• 1+ year experience as a respiratory therapist preferred

Responsibilities

• Review workload and assign staff as shift lead.
• Perform blood gas analysis and quality control in the lab.
• Document care plans and education across disciplines.
• Participate in rounds and contribute to patient care decisions.
• Assist with bronchoscopy procedures.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments per orders.
