Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 3rd shift at 34415 Aurora West Allis Medical Center - Med Surg: IU 6 Surgical and Oncology in Wisconsin. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with a rotating 12-hour night shift and rotating holidays.

Pay range is $20.80–$31.20 per hour, with benefits eligibility. Responsibilities include assisting the RN with daily patient care, documenting vital signs and intake/output, participating in admissions and discharges, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy and EMR documentation capability.
• Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• GED or HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, mobility).
• Measures and documents vital signs and intake/output; documents in EMR.
• Performs rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Assists with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Maintains stock, cleans equipment, and supports nursing operations.
• Supports patient positioning, transport, and nutrition-related tasks.
• Ensures skin care and use of compression devices as needed.
• Follows infection prevention policies and age-appropriate care.
