Advocate Health’s Aurora West Allis Medical Center in West Allis, WI seeks RNs for the 6 South Med/Surg/Oncology unit. The 34-bed inpatient setting cares for pneumonia, COPD, pancreatitis, post-op, and oncology, with chemo certification available after 2 years.

This full-time night-program role offers 12-hour shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am), weekend rotation, and growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Competenze

Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.

Mansioni

Build foundational skills through Nurse Residency and preceptor-led orientation.
Develop time management, triage, communication, pharmacology, and clinical assessment skills across Med/Surg patients.
Coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process and established standards.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, therapeutic care.
Provide continuity of patient care through 12-hour shifts and patient-centered teamwork.
Contribute to a resilient nursing team that delivers high-quality care.
