Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Wisconsin is seeking a Nursing Assistant for 36 hours per week in the Aurora West Allis Medical Center Med Surg unit. The role supports RNs with daily patient care, including bathing, feeding, and ambulation, while documenting in EMR.

You will participate in admissions, transfers and discharges, maintain patient safety, assist with specimen collection, and help with routine tasks and equipment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
• Record vital signs and intake/output in EMR.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes under supervision of RN.
• Ensure patient safety and proper use of equipment.
