Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Patient & Family Concierge (PFC) on our Neuro Trauma Unit 5G. This role supports patients, families, and the care team by handling bedside, stocking, and administrative tasks, and by guiding visitors, delivering meals, transporting patients, and managing supplies.

The position is full-time with rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. Starting pay is $18.00/hour, with final title and rate based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or active enrollment in a high school/GED program, or one year of previous work experience in lieu of a diploma/GED.
• Demonstrates compassion, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to provide an exceptional experience for patients and families.
• Healthcare or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients and visitors.
• Assist with patient transport, meal delivery, and supply replenishment.
• Maintain clean, organized spaces and report maintenance needs.
• Answer phones, respond to call lights, and provide non-clinical assistance.
