Job summary

Jovie is seeking a Back-up Nanny to support families with in-home childcare on an on-call, flexible schedule. The role focuses on caring for children in their homes, with no extra household duties beyond light cleanup of activities and meals.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with childcare experience (infant experience mandatory) and reliable transportation. Availability on at least 3 weekdays for 6–8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm is required.

Responsibilities

As a Back-up Nanny, You Will

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
• No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development

We Provide

• Pay: $22 per hour - $25 per hour per hour

About You

• At least 18 years old
