Starting August 31, 2026, salary listed as $24,105 per year. Qualifications include an Associate's Degree or two years of college or passing the para test, plus knowledge of IEPs and classroom procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or two years of college or passing the para test.
• Knowledge and understanding of various disabilities.
• Knowledge of school classroom procedure, including preparation and maintenance of records.
• Knowledge of special education procedures and IEPs.
• Provide support (accommodations & modifications) to students with academic tasks.
• Support students with social, communication and/or ADL skills including assisting with toileting as needed.
• Ability to build relationships with students and colleagues and provide ongoing support and direction to students.

Responsibilities

• Work with Middle School children, both in general education classrooms and the special education classrooms to support students academically, socially, emotionally, and/or physically.
• Support students with social, communication and/or ADL skills including assisting with toileting as needed.
• Demonstrate aptitude and competence for assigned responsibilities at the Middle School level.
