Qualifications

• Must be ABA trained (district can provide ABA training).
• High school diploma and minimum of 2 years of college.
• Knowledge and understanding of ASD disability.
• Knowledge of school classroom procedure, including records maintenance.
• Knowledge of special education procedures.
• Demonstrated aptitude at the identified school level (elementary, middle or high).
• Experience working with age-appropriate students in a school setting.
• Support students academically, emotionally, behaviorally, socially in the school setting.
• Assist students with toileting as needed.
• Ability to follow directions and implement accommodations and modifications as directed by teachers and related service providers.
• Ability to collect data consistently.
• Ability to follow and implement a behavior support plan.
