Job summary

The Parkway Senior Living in Blue Springs, MO is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner to join our team full-time. You will advocate empathy, observe residents, and help create engaging daily routines in a warm, home-like setting.

You will document care, assist with orientation of memory care staff, and support residents from waking routines to bedtime, while working 6:00am–6:00pm on alternating weeks. Compensation ranges from $18.50 to $28.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Basic computer skills to print documents and enter information.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to assist residents with sitting, standing and walking, and after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Advocate empathy and build human connections with residents.
• Observe residents’ interests and abilities to design engagement plans.
• Set the stage for daily routines and activities across the memory care area.
• Partner with residents to support daily life from morning to night.
• Document resident care and changes in condition.
• Assist in orienting memory care team members.
