Zusammenfassung

Spring Arbor of Albemarle is seeking a Medication Assistant to support our Assisted Living residents with medication administration and daily care, under the guidance of our Resident Care Director. This full-time role offers 7AM–3PM shifts and opportunities to build relationships with residents and a caring team.

You must be 18+, have 1+ year of experience with seniors, and hold a Current Medication Training certification.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ year of experience with senior adults preferred.
• Current Medication Training certification.
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening.
• Willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policy.

Aufgaben

• Assist residents with medications as allowed under state guidelines.
• Provide daily living assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Maintain friendly, service-oriented interactions with residents and staff.
• Communicate with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in and help lead resident activities.
• Deliver courteous service with resident satisfaction as a priority.

What You'll Do

• Approach every encounter with residents, associates, and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented way
• Assist residents with medications as allowed under State guidelines
• Help residents with daily living activities — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care
• Communicate closely with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in and help lead resident activities
• Deliver friendly, courteous service with resident satisfaction as a top priority

What You Bring

• At least 18 years of age
• 1+ year of experience with senior adults highly preferred
• Current Medication Training certification
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening
• Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy

Nice to Have

• CNA or NA license/certification, in good standing (state-dependent)
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or as required by your state)
• Experience with computerized resident documentation systems
