Job summary

Spring Arbor of Greensboro is hiring a Medication Assistant to support Assisted Living residents with medication administration and daily care under the guidance of the Resident Care Director. All shifts — full-time, 7AM–3PM, 3PM–11PM, 11PM–7AM.

You will collaborate with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care and participate in resident activities while delivering courteous service to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ year of experience with senior adults preferred.
• Current Medication Training certification.
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening.
• Willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications as allowed under State guidelines.
• Help residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, etc.).
• Communicate with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in and help lead resident activities.
• Provide friendly, courteous service with resident satisfaction as a top priority.

What You'll Do

• Approach every encounter with residents, associates, and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented way
• Assist residents with medications as allowed under State guidelines
• Help residents with daily living activities — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care
• Communicate closely with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in and help lead resident activities
• Deliver friendly, courteous service with resident satisfaction as a top priority

What You Bring

• At least 18 years of age
• 1+ year of experience with senior adults highly preferred
• Current Medication Training certification
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening
• Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy

Nice to Have

• CNA or NA license/certification, in good standing (state-dependent)
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or as required by your state)
• Experience with computerized resident documentation systems
