Job summary

Spring Arbor of Kinston is hiring a dedicated Medication Assistant to support our Assisted Living residents with medication administration and daily care, working closely with our Resident Care Director. Responsibilities include greeting residents and staff, administering medications per state guidelines, assisting with daily living activities, and communicating with the care team to keep care consistent.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• 1+ year of experience with senior adults highly preferred
• Current Medication Training certification
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening
• Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, associates, and visitors with warmth and a service-first attitude
• Administer medications accurately per State guidelines
• Support daily living activities — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care
• Stay in close communication with the Resident Services team to keep care consistent
• Jump in on and help lead resident activities
• Keep resident satisfaction at the center of everything you do
