Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Manager in keeping the community and physical plant safe, clean, and well‑operated. You will respond to resident requests and complete basic repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural systems.

This full‑time role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, follow directions, and work with outside contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or six months related experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident and family requests for maintenance assistance.
• Follow directions to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural repairs.
• Exterior tasks including irrigation, vegetation, pool maintenance (if applicable), hardscape surfaces, and roofing.
