Job summary

Danville Area School District is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance worker to service district facilities. The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, along with general maintenance tasks such as masonry, painting, lawn work, and vehicle upkeep.

A pesticide license is preferred or must be obtained after hire. The successful candidate reports to the Director of Buildings and Grounds and must pass on-site testing during interviews.

Qualifications

• Experience with building operations maintenance including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience in masonry, painting, lawn care, and basic vehicle upkeep is required.
• Pesticide license is preferred or must be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems in district facilities.
• Perform general construction and repair tasks as needed for operations.
• Complete masonry, painting, lawn care and routine vehicle maintenance; handle pickup/delivery as required.
