Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years experience in HVAC, electrical or plumbing.
• Successful completion of manufacturer and training courses.
• Journeyman license in a building trade (or 6 years building trade experience).
• Valid driver's license.
• Electrical license E1 or E2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of district equipment.
• Follows schematic diagrams.
• Estimates and keeps records of time and material; submits requisitions as appropriate.
• Performs related general maintenance throughout the school system.
• Assist the Preventive Maintenance Tech when required.
• Diagnose defects and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturer specs.
• Lead the work of others.
