Jerry’s Enterprises in Sanibel is seeking a friendly, customer-oriented team member to support janitorial and maintenance tasks at Jerry’s Foods Sanibel. You will train staff on sanitation standards, manage schedules, handle hazardous chemicals safely, and help maintain island properties per management requests.

• Experience in janitorial services or maintenance preferred (2–3 years).
• Knowledge of proper chemical usage, storage and disposal.
• Ability to communicate equipment/building issues affecting sanitation.

Responsabilités

• Create and manage weekly work schedules for the team.
• Train Clean Team/Courtesy employees on sanitation standards and safety.
• Maintain a register of hazardous chemicals.
• Assist in maintaining Jerry’s owned properties on the island per management requests.

Reports to: Assistant Store Director/ Operations Manager

Classification: Nonunion

Rate of Pay: Up to $21.00 an hour / depending on experience

Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours

• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department
• Help maintain Jerry’s owned properties on the island per management request

_ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: _

FREQUENT: 15% of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift.

OCCASIONAL: Approximately less than 15% of the work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per work shift.
