Job summary

Table Mountain Casino Inc. is seeking a kitchen prep cook under the Sous Chef to assist with food preparation, line cooking, and maintaining quality in a fast-paced, safety-focused kitchen. You will help set up stations, manage prep lists, and support cooks to ensure timely, high-quality meals.

Responsibilities include following recipes, operating prep machinery, maintaining inventory, and collaborating with staff to meet standards while adhering to ServSafe and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required unless waived.
• Six months of food preparation and cooking experience.
• Excellent knife skills and knowledge of food safety.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background check, gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prep items and set up workstation according to guidelines.
• Perform line cooking and various kitchen techniques as requested.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specs; adjust yields as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization; ensure FIFO storage.
• Monitor sanitation and safety standards; communicate effectively with staff.
