The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking lifeguards for morning shifts from 6am–10am. You will help maintain a safe pool environment and assist participants with surveillance and safety awareness.

Formación

• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or ability to pass the course is required.
• Passionate about safety around water and strong swim skills.
• Age 18+ required.
• Weekend availability is a must.

• Understand and apply pool safety procedures and policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and surrounding areas.

What is needed for this job:

• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or ability to pass the course

The responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Ensuring the safety and surveillance of all pool participants
• Understanding and applying organizational safety procedures for the pool deck and aquatic areas
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the pool deck, including skimming and brushing
