Job summary

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking lifeguards to join our aquatic team at the Mount Laurel location. You’ll develop essential safety, leadership and teamwork skills while serving the community.

Requirements include American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or ability to pass the course, strong swimming ability, and a passion for water safety. We offer flexible hours and YMCA membership benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years old.
• Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or ability to pass the course.
• Passionate about water safety and strong swimming skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and surveillance of all pool participants
• Understanding and applying organizational safety procedures for the pool deck and aquatic areas
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the pool deck, including skimming and brushing

What is needed for this job as our Lifeguard:

• Age 16+
