Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer for our Platform Engineering team responsible for designing and building tools and workflows for internal software engineering teams. Your work will directly support enterprise‑wide initiatives, helping teams across the organization streamline operations, improve reliability, and accelerate delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems and collaborating with other engineers to create high‑impact internal platforms.

Key Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering
• Proficient in Python; experience building tools with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Requests, BeautifulSoup, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy
• Skilled in packaging, testing, and deploying Python applications with pytest, setuptools, Docker, and Git; familiarity with CI/CD workflows is a plus
• Hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud‑native applications using AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation)
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Jenkins), and container orchestration using ECS or EKS
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization tools (CloudWatch, X‑Ray); AWS certification a plus
• Experience building and maintaining published libraries, frameworks, and services that support a wide range of teams or departments
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail, self‑discipline, and passion to drive and innovate
• Comfort with test‑driven development, continuous integration, and agile development methodologies
• Experience working with offshore development teams is a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred

Estimated Salary

Estimated Minimum Rate: $140,000.00

Estimated Maximum Rate: $165,000.00
