Yoh Services LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.

The role requires 10+ years of enterprise web development, deep JavaScript/TypeScript expertise, and experience building REST/GraphQL APIs in AWS environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience developing high-performance, enterprise web applications.
• Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, with Node.js, React, Next.js, NestJS and Jest.
• Strong experience with API development (REST/GraphQL) and third-party integrations.
• Design scalable architectures with micro-frontends, microservices, and Redis.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience in Agile teams, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS environments.
• Security best practices (OWASP, PII data handling).

Responsibilities

Job Details:

Duration: Direct Hire- Permanent FTE

Location: Availability to work 3x a week in New York, NY, Bethlehem, PA, or Holmdel, NJ

Pay Rate: $185,0000 max W2 annually

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks like Node, React, Next.js, and NestJS.
• Architect robust APIs (REST and GraphQL) and integrate with third-party systems to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams to align with best practices, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement through the adoption of modern tools, CI/CD practices, and AWS cloud services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience developing high-performance, enterprise web applications with demonstrable business impact.
• Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep knowledge of Node.js, React, Next.js, NestJS, and Jest.
• Strong experience with API development (REST and GraphQL) and third-party system integrations.
• Proven ability to design scalable architectures with micro-frontends, microservices, and technologies like Redis.
• Solid understanding of web fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience in Agile teams, using modern development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS environments.
• Adept at problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail and security best practices (OWASP, PII data handling).

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional experience with Redis, micro-frontends, or micro-services architecture.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and privacy protocols.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in a senior or lead software engineering role within fast-paced, innovative organizations.
