Job summary

Eurofins USA Clinical Trial Solutions in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support accessioning, specimen management, data entry, and storage with high proficiency. Level I roles cover receiving shipments, sample checks, client communication, data entry, and lab housekeeping.

Levels II-III add leadership, project management, and supervision responsibilities. This is a full-time position with potential for advancement within a safety-conscious, regulated lab environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Minimum 1 year data entry experience preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and comply with SOPs, operating and maintenance instructions, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and document appropriately.
• Examine samples for accuracy and other requirements (sample type, volume, etc.).
• Contact client to resolve sample and/or testing related issues or discrepancies.
• Complete correction requests as needed.
• Operate front end processing automation equipment as assigned by management.
• Perform data entry into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Label samples and deliver them to proper area(s).
• Retrieve and re-file samples for testing.
• Properly store specimens for short term and long term storage.
