Responsibilities include patient stabilization, incident reporting, and ongoing EMS training to meet national/state standards while supporting urban fire department operations and community health.

Qualifications

• National Registry/Utah AEMT or National Registry Paramedic/Utah Paramedic.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• NIMS IS-100/200/700/800 within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical and trauma care per department guidelines.
• Stabilize patients for interfacility transport when required.
• Operate EMS equipment and communicate effectively with team and hospitals.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain equipment readiness.
• Maintain training records and comply with safety standards.
